Life on a farm is never boring.

Between raising livestock, homeschooling our children, running a farm business, and keeping up with a busy toddler, our days are filled with all kinds of unexpected moments. And sometimes those moments lead to some pretty funny questions.

Question #6: Why did the gate shock me?

Answer #6: It somehow connected to the electric fence that we use to protect our animals. I really wasn't listening to the details, but the hubby fixed it and appears safe.

Question #5: What did the basket contain BEFORE you replaced it with kittens?

Answer #5: Hair bows, brushes, etc.
Apparently, the organization of the bathroom drawer was unnecessary compared to the need for a kitten-carrying device.

Question #4: Did I just step in water (please let it be just water)?

Answer #4: Yes.
Luckily for me, the water was simply a remnant of the tea party shared by the toddler and kittens. I was truly expecting worse.

Question #3: Is that our dog?

Answer #3: Yes.
We are replacing our perimeter fencing. The dog took the opportunity to escape when he noticed an opening during this change. He explored the creek but agreed to come home because he was tired and hot.
