Join us and all the wonderful vendors on Saturday from 8-12.

The summer may seem to be coming to a close in the Upper Peninsula, but the Farmers & Artisans Market will be making 7 more appearances for the 2025 season in Downtown Iron Mountain. The Market happens every Saturday morning from 8am to noon at the corner of A Street and Iron Mountain Street, across from the Library and City Hall. The weather looks perfect for tomorrow, so there should be about 35 or 40 vendors present, offering everything from produce to fresh flowers to baked goods to all forms of arts and crafts. It's all locally made and produced too!

Of course, there's generally a greater quantity and variety of produce available in the late summer and early fall. We'll be seeing late season vegetables, apples, pumpkins, squash, and more now and in the coming weeks. For more information, including a list of vendors, go to downtownironmountain.com/farmers-artisans-market and join us on your late summer and early fall Saturday mornings.

We will also be at the Iron Mountain Farmers market on Saturday morning from 8-12. Stop by and say hello and see all the products we have for sale including Gladiolus, decorative gourds, Molly’s sewn goods and Linda’s new children’s book “Nibble Noser’s Can’t Drive”.

What a wonderful first day at the Iron Mountain Farmers Market. We saw some old friends, met some new ones and pet all the dogs who wandered by. Oh and we also sold some things! Linda was able to sell several copies of her new children’s book, “Nibble Nosers Can’t Drive” which is beautifully illustrated by our cousin and was printed right here in the UP. We sold a number of our mom’s crafts—Way to go Molly. And the flowers? They were a hit. We are looking forward to the rest of the market season, every Saturday, rain or shine between now and October 11. Hope to see you there.

First buds of our first year of flower farming. The yellow Lisianthus (Lizzy) is showing the first signs of booming. These babies arrived in the mail as tiny plugs in early May and we have been nursing them along. First in trays in Linda’s Green Bay apartment to a road trip to Sagola in the back of our cars to their final home in the soil of our century old farm. We are so excited to watch them fulfill their destiny and bring joy to a multitude of bouquets in the weeks to come. Hopefully the Rose and Purple Lizzie’s won’t be far behind.

As a flower farmer we take inspiration from Mother Nature and hope that our blooms bring as much joy as Hers.
