Can’t wait for Sunday!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone out at Florida International Rally & Motorsport Park for our First Annual Spring Blow Off Track and Show Day this Sunday!

Gates will open at 9AM, and there will be a $10 entry fee for general admission. Cash or Venmo will be accepted.

DJ HU of Classic Blends and DeeJay Natural will be providing the soundtrack for the event. A Tavola St. Augustine and Mexi Cocina will be serving food throughout the day. We have some great vendors coming out that will have products for purchase, along with some free goodies.

We are beyond grateful for The FIRM allowing us to use their space, so we ask that everyone please be respectful. No burnouts, two steps, or loud music. We'd also like to note The FIRM has a strict NO ALCOHOL policy.

Satisfied a craving and perfected a childhood favorite from home at the same time.

New York crumb cake reminds me of holidays when my neighbor would always send over a tray of her homemade cake and breakfast in the morning before school. It reminds me of little white parchment paper bags from the local deli when my mother would drop off lunch. And it reminds me of after school and late night snacks.

This taste of home will be available this weekend at our event and is available for order anytime. A perfect treat for your office or Sunday brunch.

We are excited to participate in this upcoming event on Sunday with our friends from New School Automotive Performance & Labyrinth904.

Local friends, if you’re into cars you should check this event out. It runs from 9-4 (A Tavola will be there with coffee and baked goods until 12) with a cars on the track and a separate car show. Family friendly with vendors and a DJ.

So proud of Alex Stephens & Laura Anne Stephens for all they’ve manifested and for giving back. This event will benefit the American Lung Association.

This past weekend we perfected a pork rib and brisket ragu braised in a Port and Cabernet Sauvignon blend for our catering and home delivery menu. Served over fresh Rigatoni, the secret to this ragu is a lot of love and a grana padano rind. The test kitchen has been humming here at A Tavola in advance of the debut of our catering and home delivery menu on May 1st at our pop up event at The Parlor Room in downtown Saint Augustine. We look forward to serving Saint Augustine the best in authentic Italian cuisine.

Buona Pasqua from A Tavola!

Pastiera Napoletana, or Easter cake, is a traditional favorite. With origins in Naples, it is assumed a nun came up with the recipe mixing cooked wheat with ricotta cheese, eggs (a symbol of new life) and orange water (representing the trees at the convent). This traditional dessert will grace the dessert tables of many Italian households as we celebrate the resurrection.
