Letter from Chair of Dinner on Main:
💗Thank you St. George💗
What an incredible first year of Dinner on Main! So many people played an integral part in absolutely knocking this event out of the park! For those interested in seeing the team that came together to make this happen, please keep reading (it's a novel, you've been warned😜).
Ginger Wicks with the Park City Area Restaurant Association was a vital resource from the very beginning. Dinner on Main was modeled after Park City’s Savor the Summit that’s been in existence over 17 years! They paved the way for us and we couldn’t be more grateful!
Rick Atkin attended Savor the Summit in years past, and wanted to bring this concept to our community! As Co-Chair of the City of St. George’s first “Dixie Days”, Rick included Dinner on Main as one of the culminating events. Appreciate you trusting me to be chair of this event, and for being a tremendous support throughout the entire process😘.
City of St. George staff came through in a HUGE way (Sarah, Marc, David, Shane, Todd, Trevor and so many more)! From sponsoring, supporting and promoting the event, to organizing every detail on the street and behind the scenes, this truly took many hands working together to make this a glowing success! Special thanks to the parks department for living up to your reputation of being reliable and going above and beyond to make city events run beautifully✨.
Mayor Michele Randall, Dannielle Larkin and Shawn Guzman were incredibly helpful in publicizing the event and putting us in touch with several local businesses and community members. Over and over again, people generously came through in support of the event, purchasing tickets for their own employees and allowing us to sell out🙏!
Thank you to Jordan Sharp, Jared Madsen, Luke Stocking and other staff from the Utah Tech UMAC team who also went above and beyond with promotion for Dinner on Main and Dixie Days as a whole. From design of the Dixie Days marketing material and logos, to design and production of Dinner on Main signage and more, they dedicated a ridiculous amount of volunteer hours and resources. So grateful for their immense support!
St George Area Chamber of Commerce was not only a sponsor but also rescued us with last minute event needs. Thank you Shawn Christiansen for providing us resources!
Coordinating through JMI, Mainstreet Plaza partners were generous in allowing us to use their breezeway, in addition to their bathrooms for the event. Thank you!
So much gratitude to Danielle Edgren, Melanie Terry and Jocelyn Andersen, helping work through logistics in the beginning. It was an overwhelming process to create from ground zero but your support meant a lot!

To my kids and my best friend and partner in life Adam, thank you for being patient and for encouraging & supporting me through a very intimidating 6 month process💞.
Greatly appreciate the many friends who posted on their social media accounts to help with publicity! HUGE thanks to friends Fin, Jolynn, Zac, Angela, James and others) who came on the day of the event to help bring everything together and make setup a breeze🙏.
To our musicians, artists, and art galleries: you all showed up and made the space engaging, lovely and thoughtful. Each of you added to the beauty of the event, and contributed to an ambiance that will be remembered. Last but not least, thank you to the restaurants who took a chance being part of a first year event that was taking shape in real time: Pica Rica, , MYsocialdistrict, Wood.Ash.Rye, and Hive 435 Tap House! Each of you were patient and enthusiastic and I appreciate your willingness to do something special and exquisite for our community. You and your staff were lovely to work with and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
