One of the houses our company Equitable Holdings is rehabbing. This project was truly a can of worms. When we finished with the demo, there was only basically three walls standing. The roof, the south end and everything else was tore out and tore off. It’ll be a really cute little house with its new addition encompassing a main floor bathroom and a small entryway one bedroom and kitchenette that’s open to the great area and potentially a loft, but I might decide against the loft. It’s vaulted ceiling with custom Sawmill 6 x 8 beams every 4 feet hand scraped and oiled. Very excited to make this a showcase. We intend to keep this as a rental house maybe for short term or traveling medical staff. -rehab renovation

Week 2 — What do you notice that nobody had to ask you to notice?

For me, I find myself while doing a customers hardwood floor projects, the door closer stop that keeps the door open isn’t on the right way or not bent enough to hold the door open… Or the aerator on the kitchen sink is spraying out funny and plugged up with minerals and I’ll take that apart to clean it.

One of the components for the removable hitch assembly on our Tiny House trailers.

We’ve designed a removable Tungue for these Tiny House projects we’re building so the perimeter will be unobstructed when placed at there destination . Nick is currently drilling the second hole on one of the two receiver arms that fit into the trailer 31 inches back… each of those receiver sleeves will get two or three-quarter inch number eight bolts as well as six bolts along the front edge. Very well built. # saintjoseph

Using our logging trailer as a scaffold so I can get inside the fender and close that seam off with a continuous weld. This is one of the two Tiny House trailers being created in our Trade Shop here at Creekwood acres.

I got ahead of myself on one of the 3 other classrooms we are sanding . This is the room that we used the flower on becauseit was such a sticky gummy mess. Now I have the light set up to catch what became evidence in the other room after five passes with the big machine including, 36, 40, and 60, and then 80 Grit, and tsill unbeknownst to me had grain compression from the grinder plate so, taking a little slower on this floor here and we’ll catch those whirl marks before we go to the next grit. 😊.

Be sure to clean wheels and drum as you go to prevent chatter sanding
