🐰 Proven Mini Rex Doe – Ruffles
Next on the list of proven rabbits looking to hop along is Ruffles, my broken blue otter Mini Rex doe.
Ruffles is 3 years and 4 months old, so she is an older proven doe. She likely still has some litters left in her, but because of her age, I am also completely open to seeing her go to a home where she can simply be loved and enjoy retirement. ❤️
She has given me multiple litters over the years and has easily been one of the best mothers in my barn. She raises her babies with everything she has and has always done an amazing job with them. She is also one of the sweetest does, and that temperament is something I often see passed down to her offspring.
Type-wise, Ruffles has great depth and has been a solid brood doe for my program. She does have a slightly longer shoulder, but she has plenty of depth behind it and has produced some very nice offspring for me.
At this point, she has done a lot for my Mini Rex program, and with me needing to make some tough cuts and move genetics around, it is time for her to find her next home.
I would love to see her go somewhere that appreciates her for what she is — a proven, sweet, excellent mother who has already given my rabbitry some wonderful babies. Whether that is continuing as a brood doe or simply being someone’s spoiled retired girl, I’m open to either. ❤️
