He’s losing his puppy fuzz. 🥹 And he’s in a bigger bowl. 😢
Updates:
*Grammy does not like when Mama works from home. He demands attention by chewing on cardboard, furniture, and cords.
*We’ve entered a big time chewing phase. He’s very predictable when he’s tired… suuuper bite-y, then snuggly, and finally huffs and sneaks away for a cool spot to sleep— you’ll recall that he has his own cooling blanket.
*Favorite toys at the moment: sweet corn (my perfect angel, farm baby) and any combo of a soft toy in the mouth while pushing a ball around.
*Boy got to experience Bomgaars for the first time. NOT a fan of the rolling cage (cart), definitely wants to walk by himself. Did cry loudly to let everyone know how he felt.
*Graham discovered toilet paper recently. Stay tuned for video evidence.
*He now has a favorite chicken that he follows around- he really wants to lick/gently hold her feathers in his mouth.

Pretzel bite freezer restock. Yummy!
I haven’t posted our menu in a long time. Some have asked- yes, I am open to taking orders for sourdough bread, pretzels/bites, bagels, sweet breads, muffins, cookies, bars, cupcakes/cakes, etc. For this phase of life, I prefer to do random orders rather than bulk bake days. Running a therapy practice and a homestead while raising a puppy ain’t for the weak. 😂

We’re going to need a bigger bowl. ♥️
This week Graham:
🤯 Mastered sit and stay when moms are out of sight.
💤 Demanded that moms bought him his own cooling blanket and took lots of naps with brother dog.
🐓 Learned he LOVES to eat chicken feed.
💉 Met new friends in scrubs who gave him two big pokes. It’s okay because he lovvved their cold tile floor.
🌶️ Started to chew on everythingggg. And when Mommy tried to deter him, learned that he likes hot sauce. Nummy!
💦 Went swimming for the first time… in the chicken waterer.
He’s is growing so fast. 🥹

Grammy is getting so big! ♥️ He’s getting used to kennel time, sleeping longer stretches, and mastering sit and stay. The other day he let me know that I wasn’t feeding him enough, so he fetched his own snack. 😂
The chewing phase is beginning. Pray for us. 🙏🏽

Grammy had a big first week at his forever home! ♥️ Lots of snuggles and fingers to bite at the Ellison family reunion [my (Nikki) maternal grandma’s side of the family] in Herman, MN; endless opportunities figuring out the dynamics with his dog, cat, and chicken siblings; and plenty of time spent exploring and napping.
This week Graham…
*learned his name
*found his bark
*learned to signal moms to go outside
*squeaked a toy for the first time
*learned sit and come (though challenging when very hungry or focused on an extra fascinating leaf)
*practiced stay and fetch
*walked the edges of the property each day with mommy so he could learn his bounds
*claimed mama’s cooling blanket as his own
*insisted on touching one of his moms while napping
*visited Graham Lake 🤍 which we learned is right next to my grandpa Jim’s gravesite
Truly, Graham is the smartessst little dude. It’s the two adults who need to be clear and consistent with training! 🥰 Let there be no question… we absolutely freakin’ love him!!

Our little guy officially became a McIntyre this week.
Meet 🧡 Graham! 🧡
Short for his government name, Teddy Graham Cracker McIntyre. AKA Grammy, Grammy Wammy, Ham, Hammy, Golden Graham, HeyDontChewOnThat, and when he’s an old man 🥹 Grampa Graham.

Grammy was suuuper sad night one, being away from his first Mama and siblings. He wanted to smell, touch, or see one of us at all times. Jazzy (our perfect, angel baby, old man yellow lab) is indifferent but secretly likes him. Mabel (our tuxedo kitty) swiped at his face. And Cami (our crotchety, old hag chiweenie) took one look at him, yelped, and SWIFTLY ran in the opposite direction. 😂 But Graham is adjusting so well and we are absolutely in love with him!!
