We will be at I Love Lakeland Pig Festival at Sun and Fun Lakeland in Lakeland, Florida!!! Friday, January 23 5-10PM and Saturday, January 24 10AM-5PM!!

This will be our first time at this festival and we are extremely excited to be included in this year's event!!!

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING VENDOR MARKETS FOR DECEMBER 2025 AND EARLY 2026

Hey Guys,

I hope you all are doing well. As some of you already know, I suffered a medical emergency a week ago and was hospitalized until this past Sunday. I'm better now but am taking some much needed "Me" time to spend with my family and to fully recover so we can grow this little engine that will.

With that said, we will not be doing any more Vendor Markets until further notice. Unfortunately, this will go into 2026.

We're not quitting.
We're not giving up.
We're simply taking some time to get better so I don't end up back with any more additional health issues. Last week was one of the worst weeks ever for me and I don't want to do that again.

We will be back.

If you have ordered anything recently, it will be sent out within a week. We do apologize for any inconvenience. We definitely would not be in the BBQ World if it wasn't for your influence as a child.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share that Floyd "Sonny" Tillman, the founder and visionary behind Sonny’s BBQ who led with kindness, decency, and strong sense of community, passed away on December 7, at the age 96.

When Sonny founded Sonny's BBQ in 1968 in Gainesville, FL, he had a singular and powerful vision: to create a place where folks could slow down, gather ‘round the table, and enjoy good BBQ with the people who matter the most. Throughout his life, Sonny never lost sight of the principles that guided the restaurant's founding, and it's how he built Sonny's BBQ into one of the nation’s most beloved barbecue restaurants.

Married to his beloved wife, Lucille, for over 70 years, Sonny was a devoted family man, a successful entrepreneur with a generous heart, who had the rare ability to create a true family atmosphere in his restaurants. His kindness extended beyond his own family to the thousands of employees who became part of the Sonny's family over the decades.

We are forever grateful for his vision, his values, and the legacy of bringing people together that he leaves behind.

We ask that you take a moment today to remember Sonny and his family, and to spread a little kindness to those around you in his honor.
