Every family business has a story. This is ours. β€οΈπŸ’

It all started with a few boxes of cherries, a cooler, a bucket of water, and a dream at the corner of a four-way stop.

As a young boy, my dad learned what hard work meant long before most kids his age. His parents saw his gift for working in the fields and, out of necessity, took him out of school so he could help earn money to provide for his brothers and sisters. Life wasn’t easy, but he never complained. He simply worked.

That same determination, perseverance, and selflessness built the life and business we have today.

For nearly 30 years, he’s poured every ounce of himself into this family business. Every season has been earned through early mornings, long days, aching muscles, blistered hands, sweat, tears, and sacrifice. The years have brought wear on his body, arthritis in his back, and pain that most people never seeβ€”but they have never taken away his work ethic or his love for providing for his family and serving our customers.

If you know him, you know he is always willing to help someone else, even when he’s exhausted himself. His greatest joy has never been wealthβ€”it’s been making sure his family is cared for and that every customer leaves with the very best fruit.

As his daughter, I couldn’t be more proud to call him my father. To me, he is one of the greatest men I know. His strength has shaped our family, his sacrifices have given us opportunities, and his example has taught us what integrity, humility, and unconditional love truly look like.

I pray God continues to bless him with strength, good health, and many more seasons doing what he loves. If you’ve ever enjoyed our cherries or supported our family business, you’ve been part of his dream.

Please keep him in your prayers as he continues this journey. His hands may show the years, but his heart has never stopped giving.

Dad, thank you for every sacrifice you’ve made, every lesson you’ve taught us, and every cherry you’ve picked with love. We are here because of you. We love you more than words can ever express. ❀️

These hands have spent the day reaching, picking, carrying, sorting, and making sure the very best cherries make it to your table. Now, at the end of a long day’s work, they finally get a chance to rest and enjoy a late lunch.
