🐄💚 Thank You, Franklin County! 💚🐖
The 2026 Franklin County 4-H Livestock Sale, held on Saturday, August 8, in the Cargill Livestock Barn at the Franklin County Fairgrounds, was an incredible success thanks to the overwhelming support of our community.
The sale marked the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and learning for 54 Franklin County 4-H members, who collectively sold 125 market animals. The barn was packed with supporters, families, friends, businesses, and community members who came together to celebrate the efforts and accomplishments of these young people.
A sincere and heartfelt thank you goes out to the 68 local businesses and individuals who purchased animals, as well as the many additional supporters who made contributions throughout the evening. Your investment in our youth extends far beyond the sale ring. It supports opportunities for growth, leadership, responsibility, and lifelong learning for Franklin County 4-H members.
We are also incredibly grateful to the buyers who generously donated purchases to benefit the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, helping provide high-quality protein to families in need while further demonstrating the generosity and community spirit that make Franklin County so special.
To everyone who attended, packed the barn, bid on animals, purchased projects, made donations, volunteered, cheered on exhibitors, and supported our members throughout the year: thank you. Your encouragement and commitment helped make this event a tremendous success and a memorable experience for every exhibitor.
