Chip loves his kneck scratches and my little loves napping outside. Win win.

Yes it takes longer but it is so sweet watching my littles help where they can.

Primrose is probably our most docile cow. She gets bossed around by our soon to be yearlings. So to make sure she is getting access to all the nutrients she needs for her calf without the stress we split her off into her own pasture with Sally, another docile cow.

Taking a walk on the farm as the snack lady = taking the herd for a walk 🐮😂

Rosie's baby went to meet the other cows and big bro Snickerdoodle. He almost tested the fence at only a few hours old.

Cow checks got a little cuter. This 2 day old calf came over to check me out after he saw me feeding.

Primerose is one of our less social girls (hence the nest in her hair) I was honored she trusted me to check on her babe. Sally was curious too 😂

We were blessed with a surprise this morning. Primrose had her bull calf! It's our first AHCA registerable calf born on the farm.

Cow checks last night in the rain. Winny and Chip looked like wet mops. They only time they prefer to be under shelter is when it is -10. Everyone enjoyed their treats though!
