One of my favorite parts of building this, is that I get to build it with all of you.

So I need your help brainstorming...

If you walked into Tillie Moon Cat Cafe, what would make you want to stay awhile?

• Coffee, tea, specialty lattes?
• Energy drinks or refreshers?
• Wine, beer, or cocktails for evening events?
• Fresh pastries from a local bakery?
• Ice cream or fun seasonal treats?

And here's another idea I've been tossing around...

📚 A little book exchange inside the cat lounge. Imagine curling up with a rescue cat, a cup of coffee, and a good book. Read one while you're here, bring one to leave, or take one home.

I want this to be more than just a place to grab a drink. I want it to feel cozy, welcoming, and somewhere you actually want to spend time, while helping homeless cats find forever homes.

No idea is too crazy! Tell me...
✨ What would make you come back again and again?
✨ What drinks or food would you actually buy?
✨ Would you enjoy alcoholic drinks for special events or date nights?

I just wanted to jump in and say, thank y'all for the outpouring of love. I truly appreciate each and everyone of you for supporting this little dream of mine.

Just a little update, I am still behind scenes making this become a reality (hopefully soon).

I have receieved a lot of messages, and currently working through them and replying. Thank you for your patience, still very excited to see this dream and vision come to life. 😻

Y'all....I created this page on Monday...and not even a week into this wild dream of mine, Tillie Moon has reached over 100 followers and constantly growing!!! I believe in celebrating all milestones big or small.

Y'all pushed follow to support a dream, no physical cat cate right now...and I couldn't be more appreciative than I am right now.

Power of social media is wild....and while I am in the building, and planning phase, building my business social media is HUGE. Once our page reaches 1k followers, I can hopefully start making 💰💰 from the posts. Which, everything I make from social media goes 100% into a savings for Tillie Moon.

Facebook is where we will be making money from content the fastest...now TT and IG, those are a different story....lol.

Also knowing that one day soon, all content that will be posted will be of the sweet cats that will be looking for their forever homes.

Happy Thursday and happy Jamfest day, everyone!

Due to the storms and power outages, I've been a little MIA on here. Like many in Salina, our house reached 96° inside, and it was absolutely miserable. I hope everyone has their power restored and is well on their way to cleaning up after the storm.

I wanted to jump on here and simply say THANK YOU. The outpouring of love, encouragement, and support I've received from this community since sharing my dream of bringing Salina's very first cat cafe to life has been overwhelming in the best possible way. I've read every comment, every message, and felt every ounce of support. It has only strengthened my belief that this community is ready for something special.

I have also receieved a lot of direct messages, please know I am working through those and will respond as soon as I can!

This has been a dream of mine for a long time, and seeing so many people rally behind it has brought up more emotions than I can put into words. Excitement. Hope. Gratitude. Determination.

My mission is simple:

🐾 Help the cats.
❤️ Share their stories and the unconditional love they have to give.
🏡 Connect them with the forever homes they deserve.

But this is about more than coffee and cats. It's about creating a place where people can slow down, connect, heal, smile, and maybe even meet their next best friend. It's about bringing our community together while helping solve a very real need for homeless and adoptable cats.

One cat can change a life. One life can change a cat's world. 🤍

Day THREE of posting my cats till I can open my Cat Cafe!!!!

We still don't have power, it is hot in this house....I am over it. I hope everyone is safe from that storm...that was wild!

After many creations, I think I have finally nailed it. Slightly more elevated, boho, and whimsical to match how Tillie Moon will be!!!

Happy Monday cat people!!!

I want to be really honest about why I’m building Tillie Moon Cat Cafe. This isn’t just about opening a cute cat cafe. It’s about a much bigger issue we see everywhere, homeless and abandoned animals. So many of these animals didn’t end up in that situation on their own. It’s the result of overpopulation, lack of spay/neuter, and animals not being properly cared for or contained. And the cycle just keeps repeating.

I want to be part of the solution. That means supporting and working alongside TNR efforts (Trap, Neuter, Return), advocating for responsible pet ownership, and helping create awareness around the importance of spaying and neutering pets.

If this cafe becomes reality, I don’t want it to just be a business, it needs to be a space that actively helps slow the number of homeless cats in our community by working with rescues and giving adoptable cats a safe, temporary home.

Because at the end of the day…this is about the animals. And if I can help even a little bit, then it’s worth it.
