These little guys aren’t very spooky, but they sure are cute! And oh so easy to make. Two tomato cages, one bigger and one smaller, turned upside down. A couple of plastic jack-o’-lantern buckets turned upside down for their heads. A couple of “vintage” quilts draped over. Those quilts have been everywhere - On my bed, on my porch swing bed and in the cuddle blanket basket. Eyes stitched on by hand. The little guy has a plunger 😂 wedged in to make his arm that holds his jack-o’-lantern bucket. That bucket is a white one and has strips of fabric decoupaged to it. The whole set up (minus decoupaging the bucket) took maybe 10 minutes.

Soooo … current situation. 😩

Just to update anyone who cares for an update on the life of Leisl, and me. 🤪

Our current situation includes her performing good medicine after we, yes - she and I, crashed the bike and busted my right knee up really good! It happened in front of the house and involved her deciding half way down the hill that she wasn’t really up for a ride last Saturday evening. (No worries, though. She is perfectly fine. And I won’t be taking her again unless she uses actual words and asks to go!)

For me the trip evolved to include two ambulance rides, a couple of ER visits, surgery to fix a significant fracture of my r tibia, a 3 night stay at a level 1 trauma center hospital, and lots of crushed and crumbled plans for the next 8-12 weeks, no Orange Beach, no Mimi Wednesdays with Cooper and Colbie, and no picking up and dropping off Cash from Little Rams. I will heal, but time doesn’t stop. I will miss lots of important events and people who are special to me.

I am home now. Hubs is back to school. She is good medicine and so was seeing those sweet neighbor kids (Cash, Cooper, and Colbie Jo) yesterday.
