Got 4 new rows harrowed up, all 61 tomato plants worked and 20 pepper plants. Tomorrow we are putting down wood chips in all the new rows, and spots checking with news paper and chips in the w**d prone. Plus, a hive check and adding a super to one hive. AND hooking big papa rabbit with midnight mama rabbit. Anyone got winning lottery numbers for me to hire some more help?

142 more growing days left in our season. Rain is supposed to be coming Thursday. I think I will plant a few more rows of something today.

Today we have put down 30 cubic yards of compost and we haven't gotten to the end of the tomato row. The soil here is completely dead. So we are trying to bring life back to it. It will be interesting what the soil test comes back saying. Most likely it will be put everything in there and keep adding.

My favorite time of year, when I can pull this out! It is a queen excluder. Which means everything above this glorious fence, will be honey for me!

Checked in on the bees today. Several full frames of honey. Lots of babies. I just love talking to the bees. Sorry no photos, I didn't call my camera lady.
