I have not offered this deliciousness in a few years. But someone saw the picture and requested it, so here’s lunch for this Friday! THE DON!! REAL crab meat sautéed garlic, onion, peppers in butter. Seasoned shrimp, Suga’s sweet heat and tangy saucy sauce, on top of butta toasted pound cake!!

Maaannn, I love my gift!

This post is dedicated to my niece Charity, my mama “LaLa,” and ALL the ancestors who are probably looking down shaking their heads at me right now. 😂❤️

Because according to them… pound cake came in TWO flavors and TWO flavors ONLY:

Vanilla.
Lemon.

That’s it. End of discussion. Don’t add nothing, don’t drizzle nothing, don’t stuff nothing, and don’t be trying to “do too much” with a perfectly good pound cake! 😂😂

So Charity, LaLa, and my pound cake ancestors… this BASIC traditional pound cake is dedicated to YOU. I love y’all, I honor y’all, and I thank y’all for the foundation. ❤️

Now… for the rest of us who don’t mind getting put out the family group chat 🤣… Suga Mamma’s Pound Cake EXPERIENCE!! has officially taken that foundation and run ALL the way down the street with it!

We are now at over 90 flavors and STILL creating new ways to eat, serve, dress up, and EXPERIENCE pound cake. Because who said pound cake had to stay sitting on the plate by itself? Not Suga Mamma! 👀🍰

Stay tuned because I’ll be showing you just what can happen when that “plain little pound cake” gets a Suga Mamma makeover!

I named this original cake “LaLa” after my mama because this is HER recipe. This is where the journey started…

But baby… this is NOT where the story ends. 😉

Suga Mamma isn’t just a name…
It’s a whole EXPERIENCE!! ❤️✨

As I was going through my pictures I found this, Suga’s “NOT’Cho Nachos”! Instead of tor’tillas (tortillas), we use our pound cake crackers. I heard, it’s deliciously different.

I think I’m gonna add these for lunch this Thursday and Friday. If you would like to order text, 210-584-5223!

I love my gift!

Y’all know, I’m always EXCITED about doing something!! Well, this is BIG too. My first pop up of 2026 will be at one of my favorite barber shops in the city, SHO’OFF CUTS and ACCESSORIES on McDuff. This Thursday and Friday!!

Perfect time for a haircut, shave and lunch.

If you EVER wanted to EXPERIENCE the pound cake with chicken this Thursday and Friday would be a perfect time.

I hope to see you there!
