Ferdinand the bull gave us a little scare this week. He somehow got a big scrape on his leg that caused lots of swelling, and if you have been reading the news about new world screwworm, that made us quite anxious! We're grateful for the folks at Deason Animal Hospital for patching him up and reassuring us. Just a surface wound, no NWS!

Ferdinand is a gentle giant that has been making calves for us for 10 years. We can't imagine the ranch without him!
