GULF SHRIMP on sale for Memorial Day. $5/lb for FRESH, never frozen beautiful shrimp. Additive free shrimp! These are getting bigger every week but we are still calling them 16-20s. Fresh from Louisiana. NEVER imported.

Crawfish 1/2 sacks are also on sale. Invite a few extra friends to that boil. $10 off. Normally crawfish would be getting much smaller by this time of the year as the big ones get fished outs. This year is different! Quite a few big beautiful crawfish are left and overall this is the best mix I’ve seen in late May in many years. Enjoy your Memorial Day boils!

We had a HUGE rain last week and finally got some decent natural moisture in the crawfish ponds. I had the good fortune of driving for many many hours on rain soaked roads in crawfish country and didn't see a single crawfish on the road! In May a cool rainstorm would normally have countless crawfish crossing the roads looking for better places to live so it seems they are very happy where they are and this also bodes well for a long crawfish season!

We will run through Memorial Day weekend and then normally take a break until Father's Day weekend. That has mostly been a miss the last few years with all the heat but we are hopeful to make a grand finale Father's Day weekend 2026.

JUMBOS are back... You love them, I know. Yes they are a real pain to make and normally only last a few weeks while we are still catching the monsters until they are GONE for the season. So if you want Jumbos I would order for the next three weeks. I'm guessing they will be gone by Mother's Day weekend.

We also had a price drop this week and crawfish prices have come down to the point where farmer's are very angry and consumers are happy. They normally don't like to farm for long at these low prices so if you want to order great crawfish I would get them in the next few weeks.
