Two degrees. Years of classroom experience. And somehow, still not qualified.

Being a military spouse means learning to adapt, starting over, and sometimes putting your own career dreams on hold.

I'm incredibly proud of my husband and grateful for the life we've built through the military. But there's another side to this lifestyle that doesn't get talked about nearly enough.

Behind The Wildflour Whisk is a military spouse who spent years working toward a career in education, only to face roadblock after roadblock with every move.

This is a little piece of my story, and one of the biggest reasons this small business means so much to me. 🤍

Part 2 tomorrow!

To my fellow military spouses, have you experienced something similar with your career?

Wait… did I just see that right?! 🥹✨

The Wildflour Whisk was featured by Peekwire as one of the cake pop crafters in San Antonio!! 🤍

It’s honestly so exciting watching this little business grow. From custom orders and pop-ups to now having my cake pops in local coffee shops around San Antonio.

I’m so grateful for every order, share, recommendation, and local business that has supported Wildflour along the way. 🫶
