We’re thrilled to welcome Fabien from Dr. Bürklin-Wolf to AOC for a special evening exploring one of Germany’s great w**e estates.

We’ll dive into the dry Rieslings of the Pfalz with eight exceptional w**es, including Premier Cru and Grand Cru bottlings, plus the 2018 Wachenheim “R” Riesling Trocken and the 2024 “Hommage à Luise.”

Fabien will guide us through the vineyards, vintages, farming and w**es—with small bites included.

What a special evening. 🍷

A huge thank you to Chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson for spending time with us and sharing not only an incredible lineup of w**es from the Benvenusa portfolio, but also his knowledge, stories, and passion for the w**es and food culture of Friuli and beyond.

From the Alpine-Adriatic vineyards of Friuli and the Vipava Valley to the rugged landscapes of Sardinia, the w**es were distinctive, expressive, and a wonderful reminder of just how much there is to discover in Italy and its neighboring regions.

Having Lachlan in San Antonio to pour these w**es and talk with us about them was a truly special opportunity. We’re so grateful he stopped by—and even more grateful for the time, conversation, and exceptional w**es.

Join us for a tasting journey through Italy and Slovenia, featuring distinctive w**es from the Alpine-Adriatic vineyards of Friuli and the Vipava Valley to the rugged interior of Sardinia.

We’ll explore both familiar favorites and unique regional varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Granazza, Cannonau, and Refosco.
