We're having puppies! I know I already announced it but I wanted to get a pic of both parents up as well. On the left is Zeke (tan, purebred miniature poodle) the dad. On the right is Chloes precious puppy, Melody (white and tan ShihPoo) the mom. On Friday is her xray so hopefully we can learn how many puppies she may have to help us have a better idea of how to help her. Can't wait to see the xray of the new babies! Soooo exciting!

Awwwww! 20 lil tiny fluffballs! A perfect lil spring mascot! And they will grow up to be the most amazing kind of chicken ever!!! The Buff orphinton! Oh we LOVE this breed of chickens! So sweet matured, excellent egg producers, good for meat too...but them why would you wanna eat them? They give us soooo many good eggs all year! They are such a blessing! We raised buffs, Sapphire gems, white leghorns, and cinnamon queens last year. We wont ever choose sapphire gems again. They are crazy and moody and moderate with egg laying. Pass. The leghorns are crazy and wild. Cannot habdle ever a large penned area. But they lay huge eggs and usually a high number. Still not worth it. The Cinnamon Queens are pretty fantastic all around but moodier than the buffs. Buffs are best. So this is our second season and we went all Buff orphingtons with chickens this season based on our experience last year. 6 more months and they should be laying too!!!! We are currently able to help you with your egg needs. Just message me on fb for a local pickup!

So it's been a couple weeks now since we bought the dozen heritage turkey chicks and the narragansett tom for our narragansett females we raised last spring. So far the tom seems to love having four ladies with no other males around like his old home. He had lost many feathers and looks like he might be growing them back. We're hoping the ladies start setting to produce chicks soon!!! As far as the other chicks, they're over here at our nursery. They represent 4 different kinds of heritage turkey breeds with breeding possibilities providing we land the right genders. We have another narragansett, blue slates, black Spanish, and royal palms. The future provides chicks and eggs to sell if all goes right with this program. Each turkey as an adult is running around $100 each. While the adults are moms, the chicks are being raised by my daughter and i. And this is a great way my daughter is working to make money. Beats giving an allowance!

Ughhh...Chloe keeps asking when her rabbits are going to get "BRAIDED". Now part of this is my fault because instead of just answering I'm rolling on the floor laughing or saying something lame like "ok honey well if you go get my some ponytailers and maybe a couple bows we can do it now!" Sighhh...bad mommy. All right. Gotta set that right. So on that note, LIl Chloe will be raising Lil Lionhead and Holland lop ear bunnies to sell. If you or someone you know is wanting a pet that is quiet, inquisitive, easier to potty train than both cats and dogs ( and leave the tiniest "gifts"), affectionate, very smart, and beyond adorable, chloe should have lionhead and holland lop ear bunnies to sell this summer! Now here you have the mighty White Leghorn! The queen of laying eggs! She lays more eggs per year than any other chicken i could find. Now if that wasnt showy enough, she also lays monsterously large eggs. Theres no problem twlling which ones she laid versus the other chickens. They are egg-stremely good laying hens with a great personality. They will be ready to lay for you by the end of July!
