Seats still open in our fruit tree care class! Lecture is asynchronous online, and the lab component meets on campus on Wednesdays from 12:45-3:45 PM. This class focuses on the care of fruit trees using organic methods. This includes topics such as fruit tree pruning, propagation, soil, pest and weed management, harvesting and more. The lab meetings are spent on the on campus educational farm, [email protected], actively caring for fruit trees.
This can satisfy a requirement for our Urban Gardening certificate, and is required for the Urban Farming Professional - and it's a lot of fun! No prerequisites.
Please email the instructor, Erin McConnell, [email protected] with questions or to request an add code. The class is AGRI 110 Introduction to Fruit Tree Management. Vaccination required for enrollment.
