Grab a box on Good Eggs while they are on our launch sale!

And a bottle of white bubbly! Happy summer!!

It’s June.

The internet is telling us to chase a summer body.

So we start looking for fewer calories, more protein, and the fastest path to “healthy.”

A few years ago, I found myself standing in the freezer aisle doing exactly that.

Then I started flipping over packages.

What surprised me wasn’t the nutrition panel.

It was how little actual food I found.

That realization eventually led me to build Hey!Hunger.

Not because other products are bad.

I just wanted frozen food that looked a little more like the meals I grew up eating.

Vegetables.
Legumes.
Nuts.
Seeds.
Spices.

Real food.

What’s the first thing you look at when you read a label?

Some days it feels like all I’ve done is move boxes from one place to another.

A commissary kitchen.

A farmers market.

A distributor truck.

A grocery store freezer.

But when I step back, I realize it’s always been about the same thing:

Making it easier for people to access food made from real ingredients.

Food inspired by the flavors and traditions I grew up with.

Food that nourishes you from the inside out.

And next week, that access gets a little easier. 💜

If you’ve been following the journey, thank you.

The next chapter is almost here.

I’ve been working toward this for a long time.

Not because it’s the biggest milestone.

But because it makes Hey!Hunger easier to find.

Bay Area friends, stay tuned. 💜

Before “swicy” became a trend, I was eating chaat.

One of the things I love most about Indian food is how many flavors show up in a single bite:

🌶️ spicy

🍯 sweet

🍋 tangy

🥬 fresh

🥣 comforting

Tonight’s version was a quick chana masala topped with our Spinach & Pistachio patties and all the chaat-inspired fixings.

Comfort food.
Weeknight dinner.
And maybe the original swicy. 😉

Have you ever had chaat?

A lot of entrepreneurship looks surprisingly ordinary.

Coffee.
Gas stations.
Highways.
Pitch decks.
Hope.

This week I’m chasing a few opportunities that could help shape the next chapter of Hey!Hunger.

One meeting at a time. 🌱

06/03/2026

I’m preparing for a pitch this week.

And the funny thing is, the hardest part isn’t building the slides.

It’s deciding which pieces of the journey to include.

Do I talk about my mom?

The health challenges that started all of this?

Farmers markets?

Retail launches?

The mistakes?

The wins?

When you’ve spent years building something, it’s surprisingly difficult to fit it into five minutes.

Today was mostly coffee, notes, and trying to figure that out.

For the founders, creators, and builders out there:

What’s the hardest part of telling your story?
