🧀🔥 This kunafa is doing something dangerous…

Manakish is officially in San Jose, and if you know their Walnut Creek location, you already know the hype. From the cheesiest kunafa in the South Bay to shawarma platters, wraps, salad bowls, and their signature manakish flatbreads, this spot does not miss.

I went with the tri tip shawarma over rice and it hit every time. Big flavors, filling portions, and that Middle Eastern comfort food energy you keep thinking about later.

If you’re in San Jose and looking for a new spot to add to your list, Manakish is one you need to try.

🍕🔥 If you’re ready to be spoiled, this place has been a game changer for pizza.

This is Pronto Pizzeria. Not your average pizza spot. Everything here feels intentional, from the long fermented dough made in house to the thin slices that somehow leave you full but never bloated. The sauces are crafted in house, the ingredients are top tier, and every bite just makes sense.

This is one of those places where you can actually taste the care that goes into the process, not just the toppings. It’s the kind of pizza that slowly changes your standards.

✨🍽️ Castro Valley’s first halal diner you should know about ✨🍽️
This is JP’s Restaurant, a spot that has converted to halal and is serving smoked BBQ, pastas, burgers, and more in a classic diner setting.

They also have a full breakfast menu with pancakes, eggs, sausages, and more. I’ll be sharing a separate video just for their breakfast later on.

What I tried here included the dino ribs, chicken alfredo pasta, and a burger stacked with brisket and a smash patty. The owners and servers were super welcoming, which made the experience even better.
