Peaches in the summertime—apples in the fall! Here is a highlight of some of our peach and apple harvest this year! We are working on dialing in irrigation systems, fall/winter pruning and top dressing fruit trees with compost (& possibly compost tea!) to improve our yields and tree health going into next season. Stop by our Farmstand this weekend for the last of this year’s peaches and stop by over the next month or so to try some our apples!🍏🍎🍑🧚🌱✨💜

Our classes invite children and their guardians to joyfully explore the outdoors together in a farm setting, guided by curiosity, sensory learning, and hands-on discovery. Whether your child loves animals, enjoys being outdoors, or simply needs a place to explore, play, and learn, we’d love to welcome your family.

Classes are intentionally kept small so every child can participate, ask questions, and enjoy meaningful time on the farm. From gardening and animal care to open-ended nature play, each experience fosters real-world skills, a deeper understanding of where food comes from, and a true sense of belonging in nature.

Tomato season is one of the most abundant and rewarding harvest seasons’ of the year here in Almaden San Jose. Take a peek at some of our ripe, sweet and colorful garden treasure from this years harvest. We are offering freebie bonus tomatoes for purchases of 25$+ while the season is in its peak; but fret not, the season isn’t close to over😆—We will have organic heirloom, sauce and cherry tomatoes available into mid October/early November this year!

We are increasing Farmstand and Petting Zoo hours for the Summer and Early Fall!! We are now open everyday of the week except Tuesday and Thursday! Every week for the rest of summer and part of fall.

Updated summer hours are below:
Monday & Wednesday: 4 pm Friday- 7 pm
Friday: 10 am - 2 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10 am - 3 pm

Come on and swing by Ray of Sunshine farm this summer to meet some farm animals and to try our delicious, fresh and organically and sustainably grown produce, fresh eggs, dried herbs and more!!💜🧚☀️🌱
