🥪 Can It Sandwich? on In The Chips with Barry June 13, 2026

Another interesting combo o’ flavors for this week’s Can It Sandwich? Croky SauceSaté potato chips, Local Style Italian Beef potato chips, and Lay’s French Onion Soup potato chips. Something tells me the all in one is gonna taste niiiiice.

🇺🇸 Lay’s French Onion Soup Potato Chips on In The Chips with Barry

Wrapping things up this week with the third World Cup flavor from Lay’s - French Onion Soup. This should be a no brainer of a potato chip flavor but nothing is guaranteed. On the plus side, these Lay’s chips are ridged and therefor not as thin as regular Lay’s potato chips. So we’ve got that going for us.

🇺🇸 Local Style Italian Beef Potato Chips on In The Chips with Barry

Super stoked to finally be able to try Local Style potato chips. They’ve been all over my social media but not available out here on the west coast (though the recently inked a deal with World Market so now they are available here). They’ve got four flavors, all based on Chicago foods. Today, I am checking out their Italian Beef potato chips.

Kicking things off this week with an interesting potato chip flavor all the way from the Netherlands, Croky Sauce Saté. I have a saté sauce or two in my day so I’ve got in my head what it might taste like. Thing is, is that right?

🇺🇸 Lay’s Brazilian-Style Garlic Sauce Potato Chips on In The Chips with Barry

What’s that? Another World Cup flavor from Lay’s? You betcha! Today I am checking out their Brazilian-Style Garlic Sauce potato chips. Having been to Brazil many times and eaten many meals there, I am a little surprised that I’ve not even heard of Brazilian-style Garlic Sauce. Well, if these are any indication, I need to change that soon.

🇳🇱 Lay’s Netherlands Apple Caramel Chips on In The Chips with Barry

Kicking things off this week with the sweet/savory combo of Apple Carmel potato chips from Lay’s Netherlands. I loves me the combo of sweet and savory (which you from watching my Barry’s Ice Cream O’Clock videos on Instagram or on Barry Is Cooking Again on YouTub). So yeah, if these are done well I am all in.

Oh man, even though the flavors this week were a little uneven, I think this will end up being a solid Can It Sandwich? After all, we’ve got Golden Flake Sweet Smoky Mustard potato chips, Lay’s Argentinian Steak with Chimihurri potato chips, and Lay’s Ukraine Swiss cheese potato chips.

You might recall not too long ago I review Lay’s Ukraine Bacon flavored potato chips and found them to be pretty good. Well, today we’re going to check out their Swiss cheese flavor chips. Should be a slam dunk, right?

Just in time for the World Cup, Lay’s has put out some interesting international flavors. But it’s Lay’s which has been hit or miss on some of the more complex flavors. So the questions is, can they really deliver on Argentinian Steak and Chimichurri?
