🐓🦆🐇 **PRETTY ROUGH ACRES — NEW 2027 LIVESTOCK MEETUP POLICY** 🦃🐣

**Effective January 1, 2027**

As we prepare for another year at Pretty Rough Acres, we're updating our livestock meetup policy to better accommodate customers while protecting our time and travel expenses.

🚗 **Meetup Requirements:**

✅ **$300 minimum livestock purchase** to qualify for a meetup.

✅ **$20 nonrefundable meetup fee**, separate from the livestock purchase price.

✅ Meetup fee must be paid through **Cash App or Venmo BEFORE we leave our driveway**.

✅ We are willing to travel **up to 1 hour one way** toward your location, for a maximum round trip of approximately 2 hours.

📍 All meetup locations and times must be mutually agreed upon in advance and are subject to Pretty Rough Acres' approval.

⏰ **30-Minute Waiting Policy:**

We will wait up to 30 minutes past the agreed-upon meetup time.

If the buyer does not arrive within that time, the meetup will be canceled, livestock will not be released, and the $20 meetup fee will not be refunded.

If Pretty Rough Acres cancels before making the trip, the $20 fee will be refunded.

❤️ **Why the change?**

Unfortunately, we've experienced situations where we've loaded livestock, traveled to meet buyers, and had customers never show up.

The new fee helps cover fuel and travel expenses while ensuring buyers are committed to their scheduled pickup.

We're also **expanding our meetup distance from 30 minutes to up to 1 hour each way** to better serve customers throughout North Carolina and Virginia!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our small family farm!

🐰 **PRETTY ROUGH ACRES — 2027 RABBIT TRANSPORT POLICY** 🐰

**Effective January 1, 2027**

We will continue working with buyers who use rabbit transport services! However, beginning in 2027, the following policy will apply to all rabbit transport pickups.

📍 **Designated Pickup Location:**
Tractor Supply Co.
842A S. Van Buren Road
Eden, NC 27288

💰 **Payment Requirements:**

* $20 nonrefundable transport meeting fee, paid via Cash App or Venmo **BEFORE we leave our driveway**.
* Rabbits are $65 each, payable when your transporter takes possession of the rabbit.
* The $20 fee is separate from the rabbit purchase price.

🚗 **Transport Arrangements:**
Buyers are responsible for choosing, scheduling, and coordinating with their own transport provider.

⏰ **30-Minute Waiting Policy:**
We will wait up to 30 minutes past the agreed-upon pickup time.

If your transporter does not arrive within that window, the pickup will be canceled, the rabbit will not be released, and the $20 fee will not be refunded.

We appreciate our customers and understand that plans can change. However, our time, fuel, and the care involved in preparing and transporting livestock have value.

Thank you for supporting **Pretty Rough Acres!** ❤️🐰
