A lot of y’all have been messaging me about our April calendar and my apologies for the delay. Been enjoying myself a bit too much this current Japan trip that it’s been slipping my mind.

When we get back we are running it HARD so come pull up at any of these spots to get your fix!

So the cats outta the bag! We’ve talked for a while over DM, admired each others work from afar, and now I am beyond stoked to say that Shourai Barbeque will be going INTERNATIONAL with our buddy Masa-san over at .

Back in April 2025 when I was in Japan, Masa-san and I connected on Instagram and soon we began flirting with the idea of doing a collab together. With my love for barbecue only rivaled by my love for Japanese food, the idea of bringing our 日本TEX style of ‘cue to Japan would be a literal dream come true.

As the year progressed, I knew I was going back to Japan and after finally meeting him, trying his food, and spending the day talking with him, I am stoked to be able to bring our style of ‘cue to the fine folks of Hamamatsu.

Based out of Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, serves excellent Texas-style barbecue using real offset smokers with Japanese oak. The moment I was walking down the street I could smell the fragrant aroma of oak perfuming the air and knew that what I was about to partake in would be delicious.

While we are still hammering out details, I am hoping to come back to Japan to do our multi day collab sometime in July or August. To , thank you for your time and hospitality. I am beyond excited at the prospect of working with you!

A lot people love our curry, but I’m seeing more and more folk order the yakisoba which makes me beyond pleased. Based off the same yakisoba I’d get during hatsumōde (初詣), this is a fun, flavorful side that you can also order as a bowl topped with your favorite protein.

Hell, some days I add brisket to it. When that happens, this becomes a real treat.

So come on by and get your Yakisoba fix this weekend. We got you. 👺
