Nowadays it is easy to get confused about what is the “right” fish to buy. We are constantly inundated with marketing campaigns and certifications, and with this rampant mislabeling…how do we know who to trust? Salty Girl Seafood takes the pain out of this decision-making process. We source all of our products directly from the fisherman who caught them. We work only with small-scale fishermen harvesting from sustainable stocks using low-impact gear. All of the information about our products can be accessed right from the back of each package. This means you'll always know how that fish was caught, where it came from, and exactly what species it is, eliminating the possibility of fraud. At Salty Girl Seafood we believe that everyone has the right to accurate information about their seafood products. Shortening the seafood supply chain is good for the fishermen and good for the consumer.
