Keeping this in timeline , to remind myself .

I have a friend who is a wonderful Calligrapher.
She does Geometric Arabic Calligraphy.

One day , I asked her , “Can you teach me calligraphy?”

She took time because she needed to seek permission from her mentor whether she can accept student or not.

Beginning I thought , all I needed is good handwriting & little bit style .
But it was more detail and mathematical. I had to go through a bit of geometry for this learning.

The whole learning process from learning history to mixing ink or using bamboo pen to draw the first stroke is therapeutic and pure.

It’s beautiful in one word .

Since I am not a good student on this subject yet , but I think I would love to stick with it .

Ps. Don’t miss that Porcupine Quill . It is used to mix ink with silk thread.

I literally begged with my eyes when I first saw it.

Somehow, she understood and gifted me one ❤️.
