The past 20 years have been quite a ride, full of triumphs and challenges. The last few years have been especially challenging – the ultimate being the 2020 fires that ruined nearly all red grapes in California. In 2022 when the wines would normally be released, we had little to offer and suffered our worst financial loss ever. The bank came knocking and threatened to force the sale of our house, something I could not put my kids through again after losing our home to the 2017 fires.
We nearly decided to close the winery’s doors forever.
Instead, with the help of industry partners, family and friends, we are once again very excited about the future of EK! But we need your support more than ever to make it happen.
In place of our normal spring releases, the EK Special Order store is loaded with the last remaining cases of our outstanding 2021 vintage with a special 15%-30% thank you discount for being part of this whole adventure, plus FREE SHIPPING on orders of 12 bottles or more.

Simply go to PURCHASE on our website, make your selections and proceed to check out. Due to an entirely different line-up of wines, there will be NO automatic allocations. You MUST actively place your order through the EK Special Order Store. Link in our bio.
MOVING FORWARD:
• We will no longer have an allocation system to reserve wines in advance.
• Wines will be first come, first served and run out at or very soon after release.
• Our Appellation Series wines will soon be available throughout the year in our Special Order store.
