The Prescott Foundation is delighted to honor Tom Hoffman Jr at this years Night on the Tarmac on June 11th, 2025.

Tom has made a big impact on our workforce development program and through that we have been able to directly support Veterans and individuals entering aviation maintenance through paid internships.

Valentine’s Day was extra special this year, thanks to an incredible dinner at Old Vines with great friends. Their preset menu was spot on—delicious, thoughtful, and beautifully done. If you’re a steak enthusiast like me, you’re always on the hunt for that one perfect bite—the kind that makes you stop mid-chew, close your eyes, and savor the moment. The American Wagyu Colulette at Crawford Brothers Steakhouse in Cary, NC, was, without a doubt, one of the best pieces of steak I have ever had in my life. Tender, rich, and perfectly cooked, every bite was melt-in-your-mouth magic.

Of course, I had to pair it with something just as indulgent, so I went with the truffle fries—which complemented the wagyu beautifully. The earthy richness of the truffle oil elevated the experience, making it a pairing I would 100% repeat.

While the coulette stole the spotlight, Crawford Brothers impressed across the board with an outstanding lineup of dishes:
   •   Seafood Tower
   •   Seared Diver Scallops
   •   Roasted Swordfish topped with King Crab
   •   Australian Lamb Chops
   •   Filet Mignon

If you find yourself at Crawford Brothers Steakhouse, do yourself a favor and order the American Wagyu Coulette—you can thank me later.

Had an amazing time with my fellow 518 Foodies at The Coat Room for a special preview of their Wednesday Night Burger Special! $25 for a burger and a beer or glass of wine—yes, you heard that right! Not only is it a fantastic deal, but the burger was absolutely delicious.

Beyond the great food, watching Kenzie work her magic behind the bar was a highlight—such incredible talent! If you’ve been following me, you know how much I appreciate a thoughtfully designed space, and The Coat Room delivers. From their semi-private booths for intimate dinners to their stunning second floor, perfect for large gatherings, it’s a spot worth experiencing.

If you haven’t been yet, Wednesday night is the perfect excuse to check it out!

May regret sharing this post, but here it is! Had an amazing time at happy hour at Franklin Square Market with the incredibly talented bartender, Christian. 🌟 We had to wait a bit for a seat, but trust me—it was so worth it. Christian whipped up the most refreshing grapefruit martinis 🍸

The real highlight? Their $5 happy hour fish tacos. 🌮🔥 These are hands-down crave-worthy! Perfectly seasoned fish, spicy slaw, and a hint of lime… I could eat them every day.

Always a fabulous experience at Seneca! The night wouldn’t have been complete without Nick the bartender and his incredible Gimlet Riff (Celery Martini) absolute perfection. 🍸

We started with the Fried Chicken Deviled Eggs and the
Crab and Poblano Fritters. For our mains, we indulged in their famous Jerk Chicken 🔥, mouth watering Wagyu Burger (one of the best in town), Grilled Hanger Steak (which I always get with the sides from the Jerk Chicken and their delicious Grilled Bone-In Pork Chop!

And, of course, the house-made Parker Rolls—fluffy, buttery, and downright irresistible. 🥖💛
