The Portage Garden

The Portage Garden Our little homestead we live in town, so we make it work with the space we have. We love to re purposing unwanted items and make them part of our garden.

The Portage Garden- Not letting our limited outdoor space prevent us from starting our little homestead. My husband is a school teacher and I am a paraprofessional at JKL Bahweting, we enjoy spending our summers growing vegetables and this year we hope to allow to try our vegetables. You will be able to find us at the Sault Ste. Marie's Farmers Market and possibly at the Brimley Farmers Market.

Fence is back up to keep them pesky deer out. Had to hit it early this morning before the heat becomes unbearable again. Planting this week, and we will be rocking and rolling.

Got the fabric down in this heat. The truck registered 91 degrees, but we are getting it done to bring you some amazing fresh veggies later this season.
