We have wanted to try this place for some time. The food certainly disappointed.
I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was two cold Gorton’s fish sticks. The fries were hot and crispy. They were about the only good thing.
The bestie ordered the French Dip with onion rings. The French Dip was cold with coagulated cheese, delivered sans the au jus. The onion rings…well, black is a color, that’s for sure. There was no onion in the ring as it was deep fried away to oblivion.
The brat joined us again and had the “hot” turkey sandwich. Hot is apparently a relative term here. The turkey was cold, as was the case with the customer behind us as well. Again though, the fries were hot.
Service lacked somewhat as the cook brought out dinner and had to refill our beverages.

We have been wanting to try Ferrari’s for some time, but hadn’t had the chance. Walking in the restaurant, we were met by a very strong ammonia smell. This was almost off putting. Although we had reservations, we were asked if we minded sitting in the backroom. We were seated all by our selves, but service was quick and polite.

I ordered the Veal Pepe, excited about the description of a white sauce with a touch of horseradish. The sauce was WAY too thick, making an already rich dish almost inedible. The horseradish did add a great twist and was not overpowering.

The bestie ordered the Chicken Parm. This was fantastic! The sauce was light and very tasty. Unlike some other places, they didn’t drown the plate in sauce, allowing for the tender, nicely breaded chicken to shine through.

The brat joined us this evening as well, ordering the homemade Fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta was fresh and tender, not dressed too heavily.

The service was excellent. Considering we were all by ourselves in the far back, our server and other staff were very attentive. Ferrari’s fell short on my meal, but shined with the rest of our meals.
