Our Brush & Browse crew tried out the new electric fence yesterday to work on clearing some brush in our yard.

These 4 goats made a big dent in this space in only a few hours! We’ll post a final update once they finish the space!

Our goal is to make this crew available for small brush clearing jobs off site next spring so they are getting some practice in here before the snow flies!

Did you know that honey from Purple Loostrife looks neon- green?!

And honey from golden rod has a distinct smell.

Both are great nectar sources for our honey bees and can be spotted in this picture!

It’s weaning day!

We decided to band knuckles and he has officially joined the other boys on the farm- the kids determined he was too fun not to keep. He will join the brush clearing crew 🤭

Lucille went to a great new home where she will have a couple of new friends and new kids to play with!

It’s a relief to get things a bit more back to “normal” around here- or it will be once Knuckles and Mayzie stop screaming in protest 😉

🍯 Our raw honey, harvested and processed right here at Wax & Wether, is ready to order. We have 1 lb jars and half-pint jars available while this harvest lasts!
