The Velvet Daisy is restocked!

- Autumn Fig Harvest
- Oatmeal, Milk, & Honey

Half pound squeeze jars of honey (new!) are also restocked along with beeswax honey lotion bars!

Goat milk soap restock heading to The Velvet Daisy tomorrow 🎉

I’ve currently got the following fall scents left: Apple Sage, Autumn Fig Harvest, Golden Pumpkin Cardamom, Vanilla Apple Cinnamon, Moon Child.

Apple Sage and Autumn Fig Harvest went quick last weekend; they won’t be around for long! Winter scents are already curing- any guesses on what I chose?! 👀🧼❄️

Despite the warm weather today making it feel more like summer, the bees are working hard to prepare for winter.

We added feed to all of the hives this weekend. They will save up this sugar water for the winter! This time of year they will go through quite a bit of feed- we will likely add more later this week.

It’s Knuckles’ first fall and he enjoyed crunching a few leaves yesterday (sound up for the CRUNCH!)

The kids always joke that the goats eating leaves sounds like them eating potato chips 🤭 Our Junie B. Goat would clean up all of the leaves inside the pasture and then put her head through the fence holes to get any she could reach on the other side.

Looking for a fun activity today? Maple Row Sugarhouse has their Yak festival today! Pet a baby yak, learn about making jerky and maple syrup, and grab some yummy food while you are at it!

They are part of the Three Rivers fall color tour with multiple stops today!

Today was the grand opening of The Velvet Daisy and Kalamazoo really showed up! There was a line waiting for the doors to open and they stayed busy ALL. DAY. LONG!

We sold lots of soap and honey and I am SO GRATEFUL. I’ve dreamed of selling my own handmade goodies at a shop for so long, I also worried about my items selling; but man did things sell today! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I still have lots of goodies in my booth if you’d like to stop by tomorrow- hours are 10-6am and I’ll be restocking on Wednesday 🎉 I’ve got soaps, honey, baseball hats, bath bombs, and lotion bars all in stock!
Plus, catch the fall scented soaps while you can, my Christmas soaps started curing today!

Date change update!

Hometown Pride has moved to October 23! I’ll still be there with goodies for sale 😊

Due to a game cancellation, our Varsity Eagles will now be on the road at South Haven on October 9th.

Hometown Pride Night is officially moving to Friday, October 23rd at Roy Davis Stadium when we host Lawton!
