It was back when my family lived in Italy, though, that I discovered the “wine bug”. I have fond memories of the family dining together amid such picturesque countryside where food and wine go hand-in-hand. The ambiance, the delicacies, and the ways in which wine enhanced each meal and conversation sparked my lifelong appreciation. But as much as I enjoyed drinking those fine European wines, I found the process of purchasing similar high-quality, limited production, imported wines to be extremely challenging once I’d returned to the U.S. Not only were they hard to find but also highly allocated.

Bringing home a taste of Europe.

Today I’m carrying forward my love of travel and of finding superb, unique wines. Pursuing my dream in retirement, I decided that not only is my passion with wine but also wine culture—and I want to share what I’ve learned with everyone else. Through the years, my knowledge and experience in wine has expanded to include educating myself in the Spanish style of viticulture. And I hope to introduce you to Spanish wine that, until recently, did not get the recognition neighboring wine-producing countries have, such as France.

I continue to travel to Spain where I can immerse myself in this passion and its culture. I enjoy sharing with my clientele the opportunity to sample and fall in love with the rich structure and body of our outstanding wine selections. This paired with the experience I gained after launching my brick and mortar wine business in Europe is all wrapped into Melovin Vino complete with an upcoming ecommerce component to provide my services, wines, and tours to a broad audience.

Melovin Vino enables consumers with a passion for wine to purchase our hand-selected collections directly through our web store and enjoy the convenience of wine delivery from leading international wineries to your doorstep. This includes labels from little known vineyards along with many of your favorite wines not currently sold in stores.

We encourage our customers to also take part in a tailored winery tour hosted by Melovin Vino, allowing your passion to flourish as we share in the bouquet and taste of each selection. We aim to provide the best experiences possible, tailoring each tour to your tastes and preferences.

The idea for Melovin Vino was sparked by my experiences as an avid wine drinker and lover of wines. While living in Italy in my teens with my family, I quickly discovered the "wine bug". The ambiance, the food, and the way wine enhanced each meal shaped my lifelong appreciation for viticulture.
