Well… not in my backyard. Our pear tree is just standing there, smiling and looking pretty.

So what would this new fall flavor be without the beautiful pears from Collins Family Orchards ?

Come get it this Sunday, as usual, at the Ballard Farmers Market, 9–2.

Roasted pear + pumpkin spice, nestled in a silky custard tart and wrapped in a blanket of crisp, golden puff pastry.

Is there anything more Fall than that? 🍐🎃🥐

Today I went to one of my favorite places to shop 21 Acres market. Wonderful products mixed with wonderful people. I just restocked our frozen tarts so go look for them in the freezer section and take the time to enjoy all the other well-thought brands that are in their shelves and baskets.
