There was a big drop off of food at the pantry tonight. The fridge is full. Plus potatoes and onions are mixed in one of the drawers - and they don’t like being together. Do please stop by if you need food tonight.

No student should face stigma or embarrassment because they cannot afford a school meal.

The Universal School Meals Program Act (S. 4518/H.R. 8798) would make Healthy School Meals for All permanent nationwide.

Our Fresh Bucks Home Delivery boxes roll off the production line and out to the doorsteps of customers so rapidly, it's hard to get a picture. We'll keep trying! In the meantime, here is the info sheet of what was in our Small Produce Essentials subscription box this week.
The Essentials box is a broad category that lets us put in the best assortment of the food available in our region at the time of the build. The small size includes more certified organic items, small farm local when available, WA grown foods often, a wider variety of fruit possibilities, and super foods like microgreens and mushrooms. The Large size is all about getting the max amount of fresh food for your benefit. A large is slightly more basic, but makes up for that in abundance. Both sizes are available in the Essentials type, as well as Asian-inspired and Latin-inspired produce boxes. So many options!
