It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of one of our own, Della Chen, on February 22nd. Niki’s “aunt,” Catherine’s cousin, and Anna’s niece, Della was a beloved part of our family and our Setolicious journey.
Tragically, we lost Della to a drunk driver, and despite the fight for her life, she did not make it through the next day.
For those who have been with us from the start, you may remember Della as one of our dedicated team members during the pandemic. When we were overwhelmed with orders and short on hands, Della eagerly stepped in to help us deliver our products. She gave her time selflessly, driven by love and loyalty to our family.
But Della was so much more than her help—she was a light to everyone she met. Her warm hugs brought comfort, her laughter lifted spirits, and her presence made any room brighter. Beyond her work with us, she was an immensely talented photographer and the visionary behind the recent documentary “She Marches in Chinatown,” capturing the rich history of our local drill team with grace and passion.
Her passing is a devastating loss, but her legacy lives on—in her art, her family, and in the countless lives she touched. We are here to help ease the financial strain on their family during this heartbreaking time. If you feel moved to support them, any contribution, big or small, is deeply appreciated.
Rest in peace, Della. We love you forever, and your impact will be imprinted in our hearts always. ❤️
