The regular season of farmers markets comes to an end and I'm feeling pretty reflective.

I spent many years building community for the corporations I've worked at and while that was great, it was just a small part of the larger community I'm a part of - the Seattle greater area. And getting to be part of this community that extends beyond the walls feels grounding.

I look forward to deepening this connection in the off season and next season.

Thank you Bellevue Farmers Market, Mercer Island Farmers Market, Seattle Farmers Market Assoc., City of Issaquah, and Edmonds Museum Summer Market for allowing me to share my story and letting me meet so many incredible people along the way.

Fiery is now available to ship nationwide!

Past few weeks I've been soft launching Fiery and getting feedback on the heat level, which is hard, because well everyone has a different tolerance 😂

But I knew I wanted her to be so intense that you have to take breaks yet you still want to come back for another piece.

Thanks to all my market customers & friends who helped me get here!

Every week, I end up with scraps from my beef trimmings.

Most become sample pieces but some are just TOO small that it's not worth the hassle.

I'll take it home to cook up some of my favorite Vietnamese dishes ofc.

We do not waste beef here!

I actually survived my first year 😂

It's sometimes hard to see what I've accomplished when I'm in the thick of everything. But it's been surreal to see how KHOBO has grown from an idea a few years back to now being shared amongst one another and being shipped across the country.

I wonder if my dad could ever imagine this when he retired from making jerky after I left for college. I hope he's proud.

Truly, I'm as tired as I am grateful but that's part of the journey.
