Celebrations 35 years in the making. Over the past month, we’ve gathered at Lindsay House with the growers, winemakers, and longtime friends who have shaped and supported this winery’s story since 1991. From an intimate dinner to a celebration lunch, each gathering was a chance to share the table, trade stories, and taste through library and current-vintage wines that trace our journey across Sonoma and Napa. We’re deeply grateful for Paul’s leadership and the standard of excellence he continues to hold us to, and for everyone who has been part of these 35 years. Here’s to the vineyards that started it all, and to what comes next.

Amid the buzz of harvest at Katherine Lindsay Estate, the lavender outside Lindsay House still blooms as it always has. A small, grounding detail we hope you’ll pause for if you’re visiting us this season.

Three sites, three singular expressions. Our Cuvée wines draw from specific blocks within our most treasured vineyards, each bottling a testament to the character found only in that particular corner of earth. From Goldrock Estate, the Cuvée Louisa Chardonnay offers brightness and texture in equal measure. From Katherine Lindsay Estate, the Cuvée Agustina Pinot Noir moves gracefully between fruit and mineral tension. From Nathan Coombs Estate, the Cuvée Sophia Proprietary Red delivers depth and structure built to reward patience. Available each fall through allocation to our mailing list members.

An update from George Menini Estate, where our viticulturist Carson walks us through what veraison looks like across our sites this year. This color change marks a turning point in the growing season, when berries soften and begin their final push toward ripeness.

A summer afternoon at Katherine Lindsay Estate showcases the full canopy our vines achieve during these warm months. The trained leaves bend gracefully over the fruit zone, providing essential shade during the intense July and August heat. This natural protection allows our Pinot Noir clusters to ripen slowly while maintaining the acidity that defines elegant wine.

The geometry of George Menini Estate from above reflects both precision and respect for natural contours. These vine rows, planted where apple trees once flourished, continue an agricultural legacy while writing their own chapter in Sebastopol Hills history.

The rows at Nathan Coombs Estate show remarkable fullness as summer heat accelerates growth across our Coombsville slopes. This canopy development requires careful management to maintain the balance between leaf area and fruit exposure that produces our structured Cabernet Sauvignon.

With summer approaching, our Russian River Valley Chardonnay offers the perfect seasonal companion. Crafted from six pedigreed sites, this newest vintage displays opalescent pale straw color with aromas of red apple skin, Asian pear, and Meyer lemon zest. Lively apricot and nectarine flavors give way to lemon meringue and baking spice, finishing with bright acidity and seamless length.
