This is so incredibly beautiful. ❤️ Maybe it’s just me, but there’s something almost magical about watching someone so completely immersed in their craft, bringing their gift to life and generously sharing it!

I’ve always been in awe of people who embrace their talents, pour their hearts into what they love, and share it with the world. There’s something truly special about witnessing someone do what they were meant to do.

My heart is so full today. 💜 🌕

The amount of love, kindness, and support this community showed after my post about missing Moonlight Madness truly made my day. 🥹 Sometimes life throws a little curveball, and having a community that responds with so much understanding and encouragement is a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do.

My little guy was able to get in to see our pediatrician today, and after some much-needed rest, we’re hoping he’ll be back at it tomorrow! ❤️

While I’m sad to be missing out on Moonlight Madness, I know there are so many incredibly gifted vendors out there today, sharing their hard work and finest creations! If you’re out and about, take some time to explore, shop small, and show them some love. There are talented folks set up all over town, and they’re worth checking out! ✨

I am so proud to be even a small part of this beautiful community we call Sebewaing. It’s about so much more than baked goods or small businesses. It’s about people showing up for one another, and today, you all showed up for me. Thank you. Truly. 💕

And for those of you still craving some fresh, homemade flour tortillas, I’ve got you covered! 🌮

💜 A little change of plans for Mellie’s Bakehouse today! 💜

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to Moonlight Madness tonight. My 6-year-old needs to get checked out for a possible ear infection, and mom duty comes first. ❤️

BUT, I still have goodies ready to go, so let’s turn this into a little at-home pop-up! 🧁🍪

🍂 FALL FRENZY IS UNDERWAY! 🍂

I’m all set up at Kohl Farms and it is SUCH a beautiful fall day! 🍁 The vendors here are incredibly talented, and there is so much good stuff to browse!

And I brought a little bit of everything today:

I am so impressed with Bay City Baking Company for embracing another cottage baker, sharing knowledge, and lifting someone else up. 🤍

This is the kind of support our baking community needs more of. And to be completely transparent, every area and niche needs more of this as well.

Somewhere along the way, it feels like we’ve lost sight of the joy that brought so many of us to baking in the first place. Too often, we see one another as competition instead of fellow creatives who share the same passion.

There is room for all of us. There is enough joy, enough creativity, and enough love for what we do to go around.

This isn’t a battleground. It’s a community.

The only competition we should be in is with ourselves—to keep learning, growing, creating, and becoming better than we were yesterday.

So thank you, Bay City Baking Company, for being an example of what it looks like to elevate another baker instead of seeing them as a threat. Supporting one another doesn’t take away from our own success. It makes the whole community stronger. 🧁🤍
