Avery taught me how to drive the 856 and cut hay with it. Unfortunately, we are still working on the dismount. Leave it to me to fall and twist my ankle trying to step down 😅🤦🏻‍♀️. In my defense, I asked him to help me down. He was behind me, but apparently his hands didn’t work. 😂

We purchased this building and the corner is sat on to complete our property but to also clean it up and put some life back into an old building that held many memories for the Bowlegs community. We have worked on it over the past couple of years and when people would drive by, they would stop and ask what we were going to do with the building. They would always share their stories and childhood memories at the Coot’s Corner store. It’s always nice getting to hear pieces of this buildings story. All I know is what I’m told about this little convenience store back in its day. I haven’t been able to find any information or pictures of it back in its prime, but I do have a before and after picture since we have owned it.
