Long Story Farm

Long Story Farm Welcome to our little farm! Most of all we try not to take our selves too seriously!

Here we share the adventures, successes, failures, cute animals, laughs and conversations about our life with those who are homesteaders, farmers and homestead curious.

A little update on Miss Bea. She is doing wonderful in her new home in California! I’m so glad she got the home she got. They love her and are taking wonderful care of her. And of course it makes me so happy that they are keeping in touch.

Why do people do this? Leave comments like this then not respond? Why not try to discuss it?

This was on my post about the meat birds so I’m guessing vegan. But why not use your real account instead of trying to be anonymous. And why not respond and try to change my mind?

What possible purpose does this comment serve? I get these anytime I post anything about the food we raise.

I’m always happy to have a discussion with anyone who can be reasonable and respectful. But these drop and run comments are just so silly.

New chicks hatched from shipped eggs. I’m so excited about these little ones. 😁

Will this work to contain Drizzle? I don’t know. It seems like it should? But a lot of things that seem like they should work, don’t stop her. 🤷‍♀️

Also, is it ridiculous that I’m going to all this trouble for one rogue lamb? Probably. But again… 🤷‍♀️

Wish me luck! 🤣

Lurkey vs Spencer 🤣

Goblin is fitting in just fine. It’s amazing to me how tolerant the other animals can be of a kitten.
