Bittersweet it is to watch the girls play Ring around The bucket for one of the last times.. Time for them to graduate from bottle babies to growing thriving kids. I can't say that I will miss the pasteurizing, bucket scrubbing, and other chores after 4 and 1/2 months.

Bittersweet it is watching them play Ring around The bucket for one of the last times as it is time to end bottles and wrap up their time as babies. As I was getting on to post this I saw sugar dream had the same thought. I don't have the time to bottle feed each of them not after the first few days. I will not miss all the pasteurizing and bucket scrubbing lol

Yearlings! With the difficult job sorting and selling kids and milkers completed, it's time to turn my attention to winning down my number of yearling's. A difficult job I dread doing. To see freshen for the first time, are still too high so it's time to see new pastors for yearling's if I had two of me I would not part with.
I will be beginning with two daughters of Woest-Hoeve SMM Puma.

Having narrowed down from the four I kept to choose one for myself from, because he is more closely related than his yearling brother Triple Share Donahue (pass). (Triple Share Midnight Journey x Woest-Hoeve SMM Puma) Is going to be looking for some girls of his own.
Puma is out of Woest-Hoeve Suidoni the full sister to the three-time national champion Jellie (picture of courtesy of Purple Thistle), and she herself had the reserve best udder at the 2018 National show. Puma sire is out of Woest-Hoeve Margaret who had the best daughter in 2019 and his national champion and reserve National champion herself.
