We'd like to say Thank You. πŸ’›

Thank you all so much. We appreciate all the shares, comments and messages. We appreciate all the kind words about our kitties. I have been completely overwhelmed and humbled by the amount of people who have contacted us this past week. ❀️

All of our kittens we had available have gone to their new homes. πŸ’•

When I set out with this idea of raising Manx cats, starting a page for them, and seeing where it would go... I wasn't so sure. Neither was my husband. πŸ˜‚ But all I knew, is that I had been looking for Manx cats within Montana, and they were few and far between. More often I would find other people looking for them just like me. We have had a lot of fun in creating our little cat herd. We enjoy them so much and it's rewarding in getting to share these awesome kitties with others too.

Thanks to all of you who have been following our page here. We appreciate you. And welcome to all the new followers!! Thanks for being here and we look forward to sharing more in the future! 🐈

This photo is me and my kids, and a few of our favorite kitties. ❀️

You are welcome to share a photo of a kitty you have gotten from us over the years! We LOVE updates on our Tumbleweed Ranch Cats!!

Holy smokes guys πŸ˜ƒ Thanks for all the interest, comments and messages about the kittens. I had to run some errands this morning, and am back home ready to start going through everything - I promise I will do my best to get everyone replied to!

Sharing these photos of one of the fur babies (Peach) and her daddy, Sunny!! A little bit of resemblance?? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Sunny is so laid back and loves hugs. Just a big ol teddy bear. 🧑

Manx Kittens 🧑 Lavina, MT

I went against my better judgement and gave these fluff balls all names. πŸ˜„ Ha - I usually have a policy about naming them.... because around here if one lands a name, it usually ends up staying. As in, the kids and I get too attached. πŸ˜‚ But, it seems like the thing to do here, so we can tell them all apart and answer questions if you have them.

So, without further ado, let me introduce our fruity fur babies, to you!

🍊 Apricot is a solid orange female. Manx, Rumpy tail, long hair.
πŸ₯ Mango is a orange & white male. Manx, rumpy tail, long hair.
πŸ‘ Peach is a orange & white female. Manx, rumpy tail, long hair.
πŸ₯ Kiwi is a white/siamese color male. Manx, Long tail, long hair.
(Mom is a Siamese Manx, Dad is a orange & white Manx/Norwegian Forest Cat)

🫐 Blueberry is a calico female. Manx, long tail, short hair.
🫐 Huckleberry is a grey tri-color male. Manx, stumpy tail, short/possible medium length hair.
(Mom is a Calico Manx, Dad is a grey & white Manx/Norwegian Forest Cat)

Kittens are all 7 to 8 weeks old, ready for new homes! ❀️ Let me know if you are interested.

Story about the Tumbleweed Ranch Stud Cats... πŸ˜„

This story starts with Ole. We got Ole in September of 2024 when he was a kitten. I was so excited about adding his genetics to our little cat herd. He was half Manx, half Norwegian Forest Cat. I got him from a breeder (now friend, who I keep in touch with 😊 Jolene) in Idaho. I was hoping we would see some kittens out of him by Fall of 2025.

I wasn't sure at first, but I think he did father Blaze's litter last fall. One of the kittens had long hair and a couple had an orange tinge. Two with tails, two bobtails. Same with her spring litter. More long tails and a couple fluffy ones. Adorable kittens, very nice demeanors and we loved every one of them. ❀️ But still, this wasn't exactly the "mix" I was trying to get.

In the meantime, my experience has been that after a few years, the intact males will disappear. I have another cat breeder friend who shares a similar story. (Right, Kate? πŸ˜„ ) So, with that in mind... the opportunity to get another male from my friend Jolene came along. She had a cute little grey one that I fell in love with. And at the last minute, she had a little orange & white one come available too. He happened to be Ole's little brother. πŸ˜„ Same mom and dad. Grey one had a different mom, same dad - the Norwegian Forest Cat.

So these little guys came to live with us last summer. Right about the same time we got the two new females. (From Kate!) Ha, we had kittens up the w***o last year. πŸ˜‚ It was fun though. We named the boys Sunny and Stormy. Went well with their personalities. πŸ˜‚ Stormy wasn't sure he liked us and Sunny was (and still is) one of the sweetest cats we've ever had around.

The first couple photos are of Ole and his little brother, Sunny. Full brothers, a year apart. So cute. The rest of the photos are of Stormy and Sunny this past winter, spring and summer. Stormy likes being a barn cat. Sunny would live in the house if we let him. He does sneak in from time to time, for a nap on the floor, and a hug from the kids.

Ole passed away a several months ago. We aren't sure what happened. Possibly a hawk or coyote. I was just glad we found him and didn't have to wonder (that's the worst).

So since Ole's been gone, Sunny and Stormy have stepped into his place of being the "top dogs" around here. πŸ˜‰ I wholeheartedly believe that these two males are the fathers of the two litters we have right now. And I am super happy with how they have turned out!

I'll be getting photos of the kittens ready next. πŸ˜ƒ Wanted to give the backstory of these two litters we currently have available!

So now I'd like to introduce Pearl. 🀍 Gem and Pearl are sisters! We smiled when they both started showing, wondering how far apart their due dates were. Gem had hers first, and Pearl had hers one week later. I tried to talk her into staying in the house. I had made her a couple different boxes to have them in. But I was gone one day and she snuck out when someone opened the door. Didn't see her again for a few days, so we knew what she was up to. Sure enough, she showed up on the 3rd day, skinny and looking for a meal! I was pretty sure I knew where she was coming from, but not positive. Even then - there was no way we could get to them. She had them safe under a shed. As the days and weeks went by, I was starting to wonder if any of them had even survived. She didn't seem like she had much milk, maybe if there was any.... maybe it was just one?? ...... Oh how WRONG I was. πŸ˜‚

Holy moly, Pearl.

This cat, that I once doubted, is clearly now deserving of "Super Cat!!" What An AMAZING Mama!!!! My husband Jeff came to the barn one day, as I was out helping my son with his 4-H lambs. He said, "Uh Linds, have you been out to the shed today? Pearl has something she wants to show you." LoL. I about died with excitement. πŸ˜ƒ Could it be?! Could she have a KITTEN??? He informed me that yes, yes there was a kitten. And from his view of it, there was no tail. πŸ™ŒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜† (FINALLY!) So shortly after this, I go over to see if I can see this kitten Jeff had told me about. Did I find one? No, no I didn't. I walk up to see FOUR LITTLE BABIES!!!!! And Oh My Gosh, ORANGE!!!!!!

For anyone who has been following along with this page, my stories and kitties.... you may remember I bought a orange long hair kitty that was half Norwegian Forest Cat, half Manx. THIS litter is the FIRST batch of little orange and white kitties that look like him!! (And his little brother, who I have as well. Who I believe is actually the father to this litter. I'll tell more about all this later too. πŸ˜‰)

These little orange and white babies just melt our hearts. πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯° And then the other big surprise of this litter, is the little siamese colored one! She clearly gets her coloring from her mama! Tail and all, she is totally adorable, and fluffy too! Look at that coloring! 😍

Not gonna lie, I am totally proud of both of these new litters and these young mama cats. πŸ₯° These two sisters, Gem and Pearl, are now raising their babies together. So fun!

Hey everybody 😊 I have some catching up to do. We are home from the county fair, and life will settle down a bit! Enough for me to be sharing photos of kitties, anyway! One of my previous posts was about Gem, our "new" Manx mama kitty! We got her last summer and this is her first litter! I am so excited about this litter - I don't think we have ever had grey like this in our kittens, AND it's been a hot minute since we've had the calico colors as well! The daddy of these kittens is a long hair grey Manx. The dark calico kitten has a tail, and the grey kittens are both bobtails! (One of them is actually no longer available - she already left with her new family!) I have more photos of these kittens, they are a little bigger now. They are right at 8 weeks old, and ready for new homes! I also have another litter πŸ˜ƒ that I am super excited about too. More photos coming later this afternoon!

I was pretty excited when Brandy wrote to me, to say that her and her daughter, Lindy, had been watching this page and were interested in getting a kitten from us. ❀️ Lindy had babysat the kids several times up in Shelby and they loved her. 😊 She was so great with the kids. And, when we were moving last summer, before we were able to bring all of our cats and dogs down to Lavina, there were a few times Lindy went out to the house to feed and check on all our animals while we were gone. We got to gift this sweet kitty to Lindy and her mom last week. ❀️

We hope this has been a fun addition to your family, Brandy and Lindy! We look forward to hearing how she is doing!

(Kitten wrangler, Hadley, in the photo too. Cast and all. Broken leg was not on our summertime agenda, but she is powering through like a champ.)

This photo is from last fall. I've been going to share a photo of this sweet kitty for quite a while. She joined our family last summer! We got her and her sister from a breeder over near Missoula. Gem has grown up to be a beautiful calico colored Manx kitty. ❀️ The exciting news around here, is that Gem had a litter of her own several weeks ago! They are adorable. I'll be sharing photos soon. 😊

Another one of our kitties went to its new home recently. ❀️ Kitten wrangler, Aubrey, told Kirsten all about her kittens and explained that this was one of our favorites..... but approved for her to take the kitten home. 😊

We got an update from Kirsten, saying the kitten's new name is Junie ❀️ and she likes to snuggle and LOVES to play!!

Thanks and Congrats, Kirsten! We look forward to hearing more stories about Junie!

Two of the kittens headed to Colstrip on this day a couple weeks ago! Thanks and Congrats to Casey and family on these two new additions! Hoping these little fur balls have been settling in at your place and staying out of trouble! πŸ˜„β€οΈ It was great to meet you guys!
(I'm usually the one taking the photo but my own mom was there on this day and told me to jump in the picture too! πŸ˜‚ So there we are on the right... my son Hayden and I.)
