King Midas 👑 was on fire last night at the Lawrenceburg Fair and Horse Show! 🔥🔥🔥 We had a blast! There are still mountains to climb but I’m so proud of our progress as a team 🙌🏻
We are ready to hit the ring again tonight at the Shelby County Fair and Horse Show!! 💙🩶🤍

With the show season in full swing in May, we missed wishing our two yearling colts a happy one calendar year birthday 🎂 🥳
Causing A Commotion aka Sherman (Sunrise’s Ladies Man x Say You Say Me) and Success Hasn’t Spoiled Me Yet aka Ruffino (He Thinks We’re Nuts x HS Believe You Can) have kept us on our toes this past year but we are excited for what lies ahead for them!!

The 2026 season is taking shape at Boehmer Saddlebreds, and we’re excited to introduce two special partnerships that will be taking center stage this year.

✨ King Midas - to be presented by Jamie Boehmer in her very first season showing a gaited horse. An exciting new chapter, and one we cannot wait to watch unfold.

✨ Let’s Not and Say We Did - a beautiful and exciting entry to be presented by Sophia Fischer this season.

Both teams are under the expert training of Buchanan Stables LLC as they prepare for an exciting year ahead.

👑 Midas and I had a blast at the ARHPA show! We improved on some things and learned a few more things we need to polish up 😍 I love this horse and the journey we are on! We may have some work to do, but I am having a blast 💥 😍

We are super disappointed to hear the Burlington Spring Horse Show is canceled for this year (although we get it and will be sending our donation). While we wait for the next opportunity to show, we'll live in the fun we had at the Road Horse and Pony Show last weekend!

We are reminded that this horse showing "thing" is a journey... a bumpy, messy, frustrating, scary, but OH SO REWARDING AND FUN journey! Thankful for this supportive group!
