Mona Kissel receives Honorary Life Member Award.

At our May Soiree’ over fifty members and guests were on hand to enjoy the music, the hors d’ oeuvres, and each other’s company at our social gathering at the Bavarian Inn.

The evening’s highlight was when a very surprised Mona Kissel became the first person ever to receive Honorary Life membership status for her many selfless and splendid contributions to EPBA, spanning three decades of service.

Also, a special shout out to Mission Road, led by our own Elliot Simon, for all the wonderful tunes that contributed to the success of the event.

A Reminder For Our Upcoming Meeting!

Make plans to join us for our next EPBA meeting on Friday, April 14th at the Bavarian Inn, Resort, and Brewery in Shepherdstown, WV from 12:00 - 1:30pm. Please note the extended date for RSVPs (affirmatives only) is not later than Tuesday, April 11th at 4pm.

As in years past, our "Legislative Wrap-Up" is always a special meeting with more than a dozen of our fifteen-member Eastern Panhandle Legislative Delegation in attendance to fill us in on what happened of interest to our business community during the recently concluded sixty-day session.

Also at this meeting, we will be welcoming several new members to their first meeting and proposing several more for membership approval. Our goal is to be 100 members strong as we prepare to enter 2024, the year of all election years. With a focus on recruiting, this upcoming meeting presents a splendid opportunity for each of us to bring a guest to an elegant and lovely venue for an informative program and an introduction to the EPBA mission.. We already have 6 guests who will be first time attendees signed up and excited to join in the meeting!

So if you would like to get up to speed on what really happened under the golden dome, the place to be is the Bavarian Inn on April14th at high noon. We hope you will join in with us. Space is limited so reserve your spot early – and not later than this coming Tuesday!
