RACX Ranch We are a small, family owned hobby farm. Our goal when we started farming was to be self sufficient and raise our own food.

Along the way, we have discovered and fell in love with some specialty breeds that we just couldn't live without.

We may be a littlw slow on posting this week. We have a lot of things in the works. We're prepping temporary fencing to hold the geese and ducks for our upcoming NPIP certification, we have four new additions I need to pick up next week and with the heat, I feel like we're spending most of our day making sure all the pools and waterers and clean and filled to the top. Let's not even discuss the work on the garage were also trying to get completed. 😒 We're stretched a little thin this week but please be patient. Regular updates will resume again shortly.

A little insight to our lives:

My husband: you can use those two enclosures to store the other cages in

Me: Nope, I was thinking that's a great place for the call ducks I want to pick up

Hubby: I don't think we need to add call ducks this year, you have the emus.

Me: Tell you what, you tell me what the 3 main components of our emu feed is and I'll skip the call ducks....

Looks like CEO is in front of my name. 🤣

We have fallen behind in posting this week. Life got busy and I was taking an emu to the kids' school for my daughter's Vet Med class, which meant I also had to visit the 4th graders so my son could show her off also! 🤣 Farm life is good, farm schools are great!

Morning happy feet! Left the audio so you can hear the slapping of their little feet. Yes, there is a lot of p**p. That is just from overnight. We put a fresh rug in before bed last night. They keep us busy cleaning up!
