I began my career as a makeup artist almost 25 years ago in Hollywood. After graduating the Joe Blasco Makeup Academy, I acquired certification and licensing in: F/X Special Effects & Prosthetics, Custom Blend Color Cosmetics & Skincare and Aesthetics. I spent my first professional 10 years in theatre and television. I moved to Las Vegas in 1994 and became the makeup artist to many of the stars, a
ppearing weekly on the Fox Channel Morning Show. During this time I worked as the Regional and National Makeup Artist for Christian Dior and Guerlain Cosmetics and seven years as the Lead Makeup Artist at the world famous Canyon Ranch Spa at The Venetian Casino Hotel. I was also awarded 'Makeup Artist Of The Year' by Las Vegas Life Magazine. Seeking a change in climate, I moved to South Lake Tahoe, an area I have loved since childhood, in 2007. Here I continued to expand my skill base at Harrah's and Harvey's Casino Hotels, specializing in Eyelash Extensions, Eyebrow Definition and Bridal Makeup (over 5000 brides to date). In 2009 I developed my own brand of cosmetics - Makeup By Paul / "MXP Cosmetics" and in 2010 returned to Las Vegas to launch my line at "Color A Salon By Michael Boychuck" & "Color Boutique" in Caesars Palace. I recently moved back home to Los Angeles and opened "Paul Fisher Salon" featuring a "Makeup By Paul Studio" & "MXP Cosmetics Boutique." I am currently freelancing - focusing on Editorial, Film, Fashion Couture and Bridal. My clients include Paris and Nikki Hilton, Grace Jones, Rhonda Shear, Tipper Gore, Jennifer Tilly, Jane Pauly, Charo, Susan Anton, Macy Gray, Crystal Bernard, Anna Nicole Smith, Tia Barr, Tina Louise, Paula Abdul, Linda Dona and Deven Alexander from "The Biggest Loser." I have appeared on 'Oprah', Lifetime's 'Wedding Story', The Morning Show' & Robin Leach's 'Penthouse Vegas' on Fox, 'Extreme Makeover', KMTN, and "E". I have worked behind the scenes on 'Miss America' and 'The Emmy's' and as the Primary Makeup Artist on fashion shows and print ads for many design houses including Bebe, Ebel Watches, Brighton, Cache, Lane Bryant, Jimmi Choo, Miki Moto, Wolford, Pal Zaileri, Privilege, Chick Couture, The Perfect Image, Design By Deverett, LMG Studio, J Beverly Hills, Kalea Rose Hair Line, Sacia O Couture, Burberry, Kenneth Cole, The Playboy Club at the Palms, Blanchet Designs, Le Posh Noir and The Pussy Cat Dolls. I have also worked behind the camera on the faces of many men including Robin Leach, Vince Neil, Michael Flatley, Lance Burton, Comedian Ant, Rich Little, Pat Morita, Emeril Lagasse, Clint Holmes, The Scintas, Carrot Top and Walter Cronkite.
