Our chicken is sourced from a family-owned hatchery just down the road from us in Orland, Indiana. They mill their own chicken feed of corn and soybean meal which are supplemented with vitamins and minerals, and contains no animal by-products, artificial colors, hormones, or additives.

Known for its impressive long bone and rich marbling, the Tomahawk Steak isn't just dinner, it's an experience! This cut is essentially a ribeye with extra presentation points, delivering that tender, juicy bite steak lovers chase.

Keep the seasoning simple with salt, pepper, and a little garlic, then let the quality of the meat do the heavy lifting. Throw it on the grill, finish it with a good rest, and prepare for everyone around the table to suddenly become very interested in what's cooking.

🐮 Behind the scenes on the farm: It's annual roundup time!

This is an important time of year as we prepare our calves for a healthy and comfortable summer season in the pasture. During roundup, calves receive vaccinations (no mRNA vaccines are used), along with ear tags that help control flies while they're out grazing.

We also castrate male calves at this stage because it creates the least amount of stress on them compared to waiting until they are older.

A lot of care goes into raising healthy cattle, and these management practices are just one part of making sure animal health and comfort remain a priority on our farm.

Did you know that working cattle on horseback can lead to less stress for the animals? 🐴

Not only do we thoroughly enjoy it, but horses naturally move with the herd in a calmer, quieter way than loud equipment or vehicles. This creates a lower-stress environment and helps cattle move more naturally and comfortably.

It’s one more way we prioritize animal comfort and care, while holding onto traditions that continue to serve our farm well!

The grill gives them that smoky, charred flavor on the outside while keeping them juicy and tender inside. They're also one of the easiest ways to feed a crowd without breaking the budget, making them perfect for weeknight dinners, cookouts, and backyard get-togethers.
